  • Our front desk team greets you and confirms your appointment You’ll be escorted to your infusion room Your nurse reviews your treatment plan and answers any questions We want you to feel informed and at ease before anything begins. Safety Comes First Before your infusion starts, your nurse will: Check your vital signs Review medications and allergies Confirm the correct medication and dose Set up the IV pump and monitor settings During the infusion, your nurse stays nearby and checks on you regularly.   • During the Infusion: Time to Relax Once the infusion begins, you’re free to: Sit back in a recliner Watch TV or use a tablet Scroll your phone or laptop Read, rest, or nap Infusions can last anywhere from 30 minutes to a few hours, depending on your treatment.
