Our Wound Care Approach

Comprehensive Wound Assessment

Every patient receives a thorough evaluation including wound measurements, tissue analysis, infection screening, and vascular assessment to determine the optimal treatment path.

VAC Therapy (Negative Pressure)

We apply and manage wound VAC systems that use controlled suction to promote blood flow, reduce swelling, and accelerate tissue granulation in complex wounds.

Specialty Dressings and Debridement

Our team selects from advanced wound care products including hydrogels, alginates, collagen dressings, and antimicrobial barriers. We perform sharp and enzymatic debridement as clinically indicated.

Progress Tracking and Documentation

We photograph and measure every wound at each visit, providing detailed progress reports to your referring physician and insurance provider.

What to Expect

1

Comprehensive Assessment and Treatment Plan

At your first appointment, our wound care specialist will perform a comprehensive assessment and develop a personalized treatment plan. We coordinate insurance authorizations for VAC equipment and specialty supplies before initiating treatment.

2

Active Treatment and Regular Follow-Ups

Follow-up visits are typically scheduled two to three times per week, depending on wound severity. Each visit includes wound cleaning, dressing changes, progress documentation, and any necessary adjustments to your treatment protocol.

3

Healing Milestones and Provider Coordination

At each visit we photograph and measure your wound, tracking granulation, contraction, and epithelialization. Progress reports are shared with your referring physician so your entire care team stays aligned on your recovery.
